Blue Water under a Full Moon

December 28, 2021
Blue Water under a Full Moon acrylic by CheyAnne Sexton

When I finally picked up oils again I had been watching some acrylic painters on Instagram.

So I tried those too.

My honey loved this too much to sell

So it hangs on our black propane frig (which we are so thankful for).

I’ll post this to Society6 for prints, coasters, blank booklets and many, many more items with this printed on them. I hope you can check it out.

peace,

CheyAnne

whewww what a trip

January 16, 2009

we made it as far as Manzanilla, Mexico which is just north of Manzanillo.  Over 4000 miles put on our sea-pmy (our new car).  It is incredibly beautiful in Mexico. and the people are just the best.  I think all americans should learn to drive in Mexico.  It was a blast and we saw only one accident in 3 weeks.  People drove fast, but with utmost courtesy on the road.  I have over 800 photos that I have downloaded and started to sort thru.  What a job ahead, but its loads of fun to see them on my computer

here’s a few:

is was so awesome spending Christmas eve and Christmas camping right on the beach in Mazatlán.  We would have the whole beach to ourselves most nights, and the the early a.m.ers wouldn’t start strolling until about the time we had our second cup of cafe.

this one young man was one of about 5-8 that would come early to catch the small waves at this north end of the beach in Mazatlán. Playa Bruja

this bird was captivating. I looked it up and I think its a snowy egret

she would stand here by this little spit of sand and wait for the incoming wave to bring itty-bitty fish up on the beach and as they were flopping to get back in the ocean, she and others would snatch them up

once she knew I meant her no harm she went about her business
