SOLD wild pink mountain roses

October 23, 2010

a sweet little watercolour I did this summer while Len was fishing the Red River, out of Questa, New Mexico, just north of Taos, New Mexico.  While I was painting

wild mountain pink roses

Len was fishing (and catching)

mountain trout

magic pole (fishing for sure)

and I painted this one too of the sun flowing thru this little group of cottonwood trees

which is still for sale (the original painting) on my etsy site

getting ready for a grand MEXICO roadtrip

that song just keeps rolling around in my head as we are getting ready for our next and bigger Mexico trip.

The photo strip on the wall above is from our trip to Tulum two years ago when we flew down to Cancun amd then taxied down to Tulum, where we camped in our  tent right on the mar (thats ‘beach’ in spanish).  It  was ssooooo fun and exciting

Coming on to the Beach in Tulum

Coming on to the Beach in Tulum

as you can see from a few of our photos that we took there:

straight down to the ocean and our tent was just to the left

under the two coco trees

In the morning when all was quiet and still the sun would slowly rise up out of el mar to shine on this lovely piece of paradise

We would go to this restaurante

called the ‘El Mirador’  which

means  “The LookOut” and it had

a great view with the trees and

the ocean

also looking down on the beach
